Charley Pearson

Charley Pearson retired after a career with the U.S. Navy, at the headquarters of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program, primarily overseeing chemical and radiological environmental remediation after the end of the Cold War, releasing closing facilities for unrestricted future use with EPA and state agreement. He apparently used up his left brain in the process, so now he's on to the right side, writing humor, thriller, historical, & fantasy type stuff.

In addition to a few short things, Charley has a couple of books out. TheMarianated Nottingham and Other Abuses of the Language, is a humor collection that won Best Anthology at the 2017 Killer Nashville writers conference. Scourge, is a medical thriller just released at the end of 2018. Both are available through local bookstores or Amazon (ISBN 978-0997299304 and 978-0997299328, respectively).

Charley hides out in the mountains, and his neighbors see no sign of getting rid of him. He used to be good at embarrassing his daughters—a task every parent should excel at—but they're grown up now and pretty much immune. Darn it. Well, on to the grandkids.
